History of electronic music: – The Early Years
One of the latest innovations in the musical genre came in the 60s with the birth of the first electronic Keyboard. Electric organs were the first to appear and to spread (Voxes, Hammonds, Farsifas), electrically amplified pianos soon followed (Wurlitzer, Fender Rhodes, Clavinet) and, of course, the Mellotron, which was a kind of pioneer recovery device best known by The Used sans-serif; font-weight: normal; font-size: 13px; "> Beatles (in the" Strawberry Fields Forever "intro), King Crimson and The Moody Blues. Although the electronic produced sound was very clear in some of the songs, it was not true, Electronica – the inclusion of acoustic and / or electric style = "border-top-width: 0px; border-top-style: none, border-left-width: 0px; border-left-style: none; border-right-width: 0px; border-right-style: none; border-bottom-width: 1px; border-bottom-style: solid; padding-top: 0px; padding- right: 0px; padding-bottom: 1px; padding-left: 0px; color: # 0000ff; background-image: none; background-color: transparent; width: auto; float: none; font-family: Verdana, sans-serif; font-weight: normal; font-size: 13px; "> guitar, bass guitar and live drumming, etc. were dominant tone of the song, so the classification as an Electro-Acoustic Music.
An early pioneer of electronic (and electro-acoustic) music was Jean-Michel Jarre. In 1968, the GRM Jarre style = "border-top-width: 0px; border-top-style: none; border-left-width: 0px; border-left-style: none; border-right-width: 0px; border-right-style: none; border-bottom-width: 1px; border-bottom-style: solid; padding-top: 0px; padding-right: 0px; padding-bottom: 1px; padding-left: 0px; color: # 0000ff; background-image: none; background-color: transparent; width: auto; float: none; font-family: Verdana, sans-serif; font-weight: normal; font-size: 13px; "> Music Research Group in Paris and began experimenting with Electro-Classical (Sometimes called in the category of New Age artists like Enya are similar). In 1971, he is a ballet that was performed at Opera de Paris, composed. This was the first time that Electro-Acoustic music was played in public. After releasing another successful album and composing a film score, Jarre was a record performance in Paris. It was a spectacular show, by an amount of 1,000,000 spectators attending, and he used this opportunity to show, with a brilliant combination of lasers, fireworks, Projectors and huge sound systems – elements which later inspired raves, concerts and the House Synthpop music subculture.
In 1964, Robert Moog, a the first analog synthesizer on the market – the Moog Synth. This innovation made the technology more affordable and widely available to the masses in the late 70s and early 80 years, the analog synthesizer in the birth of a new sound in music – Electronica swept.
Electronica is defined as music created using electronic instruments (Synthesizers, samplers, drum machines, etc …) and is dominated by that electronic sound. It can further be characterized by the emphasis on melodic and harmonic structure, and also on its catchy, danceable rhythms and bass lines. Some Electronica enthusiasts find it difficult to distinguish between that which is distinguished Synthpop, Techno, House, Acid Jazz, Fusion, Trance, sans-serif; font-weight: normal; font-size: 13px; "> Drum sans-serif; font-weight: normal; font-size: 13px; "> and sans-serif; font-weight: normal; font-size: 13px;"> Bas s , Jungle, Industrial, Dance, etc. … Everyone makes their own distinctions, based on factors such as, "Serious" or "depth" of the lyrical content, Presence (or absence) of the lyrical content, lyrics vs. vs. samples purely instrumental, presence (or absence) of melodic content, types of sounds / tones in the Music, and with what kind of image, the artists present themselves.
Artist Representatives of the Synthpop (often referred to as "New Wave" – a reference belong to the changing style of British music in the early 80s): The Human League, Depeche Mode, Eurythmics, style = "color: # 0000FF; font-weight: normal; font-size: 13px;> sans-serif; font-weight: normal; font-size: 13px; "> Pet sans-serif; font-weight: normal; font-size: 13px;> Shop sans-serif; font-weight: normal; font-size: 13px; "> Boys, Alphaville, Erasure, Duran Duran, among many others. Synthpop-style includes usually a strong lyrical and melodic / harmonic bent – the focus often falls on the singer and the image he is / she for the band, and the mood / Content of the lyrics, which is usually light in tone and often not very deep, although it can be very emotional and serious, even dark and sometimes political.
Techno usually in the purely instrumental music, sometimes founded with spoken word samples from a variety of sources: come film, television, radio and even works of other artists. In general, it is driven through his Beat, though melodic and harmonic lines still figure heavily in its definition. Artists such as 808 State, Fluke, Orbital, Crystal Method, Chemical Brothers, and typically fall under the Techno category. In addition, synthpop and techno are probably the most European innovations will bloom from their roots in one of the first all-electronic bands – Germany's power – and simultaneously with the development of the early traces of hip-hop and rap in America under the Led by artists such as Parliament Funkadelic, Inner City, and Grand Master Flash.
From the fusion of hip-hop and rap with European techno is U.S. house music. The house is largely due to the 70's "spirit of community," and so is based, will be based also on the influences of 70's rock and disco, as well as a Touch of Jazz and Rhythm & Blues, which can be found in its strong dependence sans-serif; font-weight: normal; font-size: 13px; "> Piano sans-serif; font-weight: normal; font-size: 13px; "> chords. For this reason, and acid jazz (with additional saxophone melodies) are often categorized Fusion as sub-genres of House. Some famous artists include House: Towa Tei, Dee-Lite, and The Chemical Brothers.
Again, there are often many groups, the cross-over and securing the borders of one or more of Electronica genres, such as The Chemical Brothers, the set of her latest album, a mix of house and techno, and who previously represented a Combination of trance and drum and bass. The Prodigy are an example of a cross between Drum and Bass and Jungle Techno with a little influence in their earlier works.
