Phone Headsets – Buy? Not double-click your consumables
In the 17 years that I have been in the headset, I could not tell you how many Times I've gone to a client's office and found unnecessary equipment. Most people that sell phones for sale, including headsets too, but only as an additional Line. Unfortunately, there are many who do not know either their products or set out to deceive unsuspecting customers by selling more units than they actually . Need
If you buy over a new telephone system or headset for your office – do yourself a favor by arming himself with a few facts via mobile phones and headsets.
First, gather the make and model details of the phone equipment you already have or want to buy and make some specific questions about the phone system / s headset compatibility.
1st Does the phone using a headset port, where the headset can only be plugged in?
2nd Is there programming is available, that a headset on or off by pressing a key on the phone?
3rd Are there any special headsets that made for the intended phone devices? Sometimes the best performance can only be through the purchase of headsets that are tuned to a brand and model of your phone be considered. Mostly, this is not the case.
4th Is it loud? Consider the environment in which the headset can be used, and if so, will the headset work Perform with or without an amplifier? This is actually one of the most important questions of all. The answer will depend on whether you just buy a headset – or an amplifier or having to Switcher. Potentially doubling your effort!
5th What about the style of headset you have in mind? Is there enough listening volume? Some Phones support monaural (single ear-Type) headband style headsets without amplifier.
