I have a Hartke bass amp, amp and I was look at buying a guitar and a Guitar, but I wonder if I could use my bass amp as a Guitar Amplifier.
Music Amps are the one thing they can do, funny and how you want to use it .. In order to answer your question, basically, yes .. A bass amp can handle a guitar okay .. You will not receive "Screaming Tree" Treble highs out of it, but if you play rhythm guitar, it will be fine .. We do an acoustic string handle 12 with a pickup truck is real nice .. You want to try the external input accessories Screaming Tree as a booster or Muff Fuzz-Booster use caution .. Real high treble notes come out easily, since a proper bass amp speaker has been made for heavy deep bass tones .. But his grip is reverb in order if you think .. Adequate volumes .. Do not plug into a regular electric bass amp you "POP" the speakers in minutes .. If you want to turn the volume down and play your favorite CD, you can do .. But try not to go "live" with this configuration .. The speakers are the opposite of the bass speakers .. They are designed to handle the highs and mid range a guitar puts out .. You can also plug regular guitar amp head in a bass speaker cab, and plugging a bass amp into a regular guitar amp and they are both run fine .. Again, the sounds of cabs and changed slightly when the speakers are or to any other type intstrument .. There are "combo" amps Also .. I have a vintage VOX Super Beatle Double Stacker ..
